This premium styling clay wax gives you a raw textured look, matte finish and strong hold, making it perfect for anyone wanting that 'lived-in' look. 

Matte Hed Extra is the big brother of the original Matte Hed, offering a much stronger hold that lasts longer, is significantly drier and more matte than the original. 

With a super strong hold factor of 10, it offers style longevity so you can be confident any style you have will stay in place, without a sticky wet residue. Whether you have short, long, fine or coarse hair types, it's ideal for texturising, defining and adding some oomph!

Matte Hed Extra Formula

Made with a dual combination of kaolin and bentonite clay, it absorbs moisture so the hair becomes drier and easier to style. Kaolin, a clay mineral has a soft white powder consistency meaning it's super gentle on the hair, whilst bentonite clay absorbs oil so the hair is easier to style. Lanolin wax, cera alba (beeswax) and polymers also provide maximum hold and protect the hair from humidity. 

Despite its rich, dry texture, it can be easily brushed or rinsed out, leaving the hair ready to be styled again, making it a great multi-tasker and suitable for both men and women. 

As with all Fudge Professional styling products, it has a fragrant, fruity scent, loved by Fudge customers.

Matte Hed Extra combines both clay and wax properties meaning its pliable, highly absorbent formula helps to detoxify, cleanse and soothe the scalp, preparing the hair for any style. 

How to use Fudge Matte Hed Extra

  1. Apply 1 pump to hands and rub together
  2. Work into towel dried hair, distributing evenly 
  3. Replace cap lid to prevent the product from drying out or the pump becoming blocked
  4. For extra definition or hold, layer small amounts to your finished style
